Our Origin Myth
In 2023, as part of a wager, Hades convinced one hapless mortal to create a podcast. She built the voices. He provided the gravitas. Zeus crashed the recording sessions. Hermes delivered the episodes. Persephone made sure the content changed with the seasons.
That podcast was Fireside Folklore with Hades, a satirical retelling of world folklore by gods with too much time and too many opinions.
Now the gods have decided that storytelling for free, while noble, does not cover the cost of pomegranates. Styx & Stones is what happens when immortals discover commerce.
